Car finance applicants should not be put off by bad credit

Those with a bad credit history should not be discouraged from seeking new car finance. An article recently published on Netcars.co.uk by industry expert Andrina James explains that used car finance for those with turbulent credit histories or a bad credit rating is very much a viable option. James emphasised that monetary difficulties in the past should not prohibit customers from successfully applying for car finance for a used vehicle. "Purchasing a used car is a better option for those who are suffering from poor credit," she said. Potential car finance customers tend to be unnecessarily cautious and negative, which dissuades them from making car finance applications. They feel certain their unstable credit histories will count against them, so do not apply. In fact, the contrary is often true: being pre-approved for a new or used car loan is frequently easier than people think. Homeowners have the option of applying for a secured used car loan, which enables them to enjoy the benefit of a low rate on a large loan amount. People who dont own their own home may find their rates are slightly higher, but there are still enough deals on the market to be able to shop around for the best price on an unsecured loan, especially if the vehicle is second hand.
